You will need to check with the airline you are travelling with. Some will allow you to take your Dreami on the plane but some will only allow you to use what they have on board.

As for someone saying you shouldn't fly with a 2 month old, you should be ok but best to check with the airline. There are restrictions if your baby was premature. But if baby was born full-term and is perfectly healthy you should be fine.

Best to check with the airline.

Good luck and enjoy your holiday!

You should take the baby's carseat and purchase a seat for the baby. It is the safest way to fly with an infant. Any other way and the baby is not secured. If you fly with the baby in your arms or in the Dreami, the baby has no protection at all in the event of an emergency landing or crash. He is not strapped into the airline seat! Even rough air can be dangerous for a baby. Twice I have seen an infant fall from mother's arms when the plane encountered sudden rough air. Once the baby hit his head very hard on the seat in front of him; everyone could hear the crack.

You would have to either be lucky enough and have an empty seat next to you, or purchase it in order for you to lay down your child.
First of all, your pediatrician should had suggested not to fly with a child 2months old. It will be somewhat difficult for her small ears to clear easily with changes in cabin pressure.
The other answer you've got about a place to put a bed in the bulkhead is wrong, some airlines have a changing station in the bulkhead so you don't have to get up every time and the restroom is free for other passengers. Those changing stations are no meant for a child to sleep on.

I flew from Israel and a young couple and baby sat next to me. We had front row seats-nothing in front of us except wall, and there was a place to hang a baby bed there. You might check on this. Surely the baby bed belonged to the airlines, so it would fasten on properly.
