i did a finger stick on someone without using gloves..i did not get any contact with blood nor did i get contact with neeedle...i didnt have any cuts on my fingers either...do i need an hiv test...can the virus pass through my skin...and will the alcohol pad i used kill the virus

Although it was foolish not to use gloves, you should be fine...however how many chances are you going to take? Next time blood might get on you...and you might have a cut it could get into...

Don't play russian roulette with your health...use the proper precautions no matter now annoying or troublesome they are...it's worth it.

HIV cannot be absorbed through the skin! You said you were not stuck by the same needle...didnt even have contact with the blood. You did not get HIV from this person.

if you didn't have any cuts or damage on your skin its not probably you need , but you can always sleep better if you do it but remember to wait 6 moths so the test is accurate, before that it may show nothing even you you have it

no sweat...but if youre concerned use gloves, which i bet is your facilities procedure anyway.
