Hi :)

You could have torn a ligament or strained a muscle without knowing.

I know your experienced but always remember to do the warm ups before you start.

If this isn't the problem maybe your working too hard on your legs.

It could also be salt in your diet, too little.

Go see your doctor.

Rest
Ice
Compress
Elevate

As mentioned, elevate your legs regularly. Ice the painful area twice a day after you massage it with massage oil or warm olive oil. Do not be afraid to rub quite deep into the muscle.

Take 500mg of Vit C every day for as long as symptoms persist. (Take no more than 1000mg a day). You should try and get a vit C supplement with added Zinc if possible.

You might also want to take a break for some time, and look into strength building exercises for the area affected.

Best of luck with your recovery!

Depends how much you dance, what kinda pain, where etc... Could be one of many things, shinsplints(tiny fractures) straining muscles etc. If it's muscle, try an anti-inflammatory gel that could help, but if it carries on get it check at the docs!
