I don't understand how out countries (UN) can take land from one country and give it to others. Would England, America, or any other country accept that? We would fight til all were dead. Yet the Arabian countries are said to be bad people because they want their land back. No I am not Arab, I am a caucasian American who cannot understand why people are for the Jewish people (that I have nothing against) when they want Christ's land that he walked apon when they "have not and do not" accept Jesus in any way except to have him crucified. I am also NOT a Christian. I apologize if I used any term that disrespects anyone. Not intentional, just ignorance of your customs.

Israel want to keep land that was never part of Israel and war go on

This is a very complicated situation to even start to understand. I'm sure my opinion will step on some toes but here it goes... I've watched and read on the Middle East for a few years but am not an expert on the subject. This is my understanding and solution.

That land should go to the rightful owner, the Israelis. Palestine should be absorbed into the Israeli territories and become part of their border. I hate to say it but the Palestine's have done a terrible job as far as leadership goes. They have failed to establish a reliable government that helps their people. Then they blame the Jews for what they have created. Then to top it off they send more suicide bombers and kidnaper's to aggravate the Israeli government that much more. After all that they start complaining about why Israel builds fences and walls to protect themselves. I would much rather live under the Israeli government if I were in that region. I feel very sorry for the common folks in Palestine they are the ones suffering. They should absorb that area within the Israeli government and let them deal with the trouble makers however they do that.

The Israeli's do have a Muslim population from what I understand. I don't think religion is the issue. They have races other than Israeli genealogy there also, I don't think race is the issue.

If the Muslims dispute this we should go to the direct authority on the subject: the Torah, Nevi'im and Kethuvim. There are explicit references to the boarders and who the land actually belongs to. Sound like a task?

Am I crazy? What do I know?

I'm interested in seeing what people have to say on this one. I'm to pretty ignorant on the reasons and history about the conflict between Israel and the Muslim world. I do know a couple of things.

This conflict is nothing new, it's been around for thousands of years. The land in question that is contested is probably the most recognized holy land in the world. It's essentially the birth place of the three religions. Jewish, Christian, and Muslim. They all feel a strong attachment and have some semblance of a just right to the land.

This link gives some background.

I don't know much about the details, but the most recent key division of land occured after WWII. Where the winning countries got together to determine where the boundaries should be drawn. The boundaries were drawn based on what they understood to be historically correct, what would seem to be fair for the Jewish and Muslim people.

Unfortunately, they didn't take into account the currently established popluation, mostly Muslim. Anyhow, the war will probably go on indefinately as long as religion and importance of historical religious sites is important to these people.

I'm certain many will see this as overly simplified, and they would be correct to say so. I look forward to what they have to say.

Below is about the best comprehensive website illustrating the history as well as the current difficulties for this conflict. Very informative and an easy read!

Edit: It's not "Christ's land" they want, it is the land of Abraham and their roots as Jewish people. According to Biblical history, the foundation of Christianity, Judaism, and Muslim stem from the family of Abraham. The land has changed hands many times, even under Roman control. If you go back 50 years, you'll see someone in control different from 100 years, 200, 500, etc. This is a very volatile region!

Well the land you talk of comes to mind. It's be fought over for thousands of years. The Canaanites, the Jews, Greeks Babylonians, and so on. After around 70A.D. the Jews lost the land and then the Arabs took over and had that land until 1949. I will admit the British had control for awhile.

In 1949 the UN split the land and gave the Jews a small part to have for themselves. They've had to fight for that land ever since. I can think of 6 wars fought over there since 1949.

I'm a christian and feel that the Jews got their land back. after about 1000yrs.

The fellow above stated it very well with the story of jacob and essau.. It was the catylist behind the fighting. From Jacob came the Jews nation and from Essau came the Arabs.
Now.. The Jewish nation is in existance because of what happened to their people during WW2. After Hitler's near extermination of their race, the world united, and gave them back the country that was rightfully theirs. This land belonging to their forefathers, Abraham, Moses, Elijah... Christ was a Jew, yes, and was given to Pilot by the sanhedrin, which were also jews, BUT, if people choose to judge an entire race because of something some misguided freaks did to our lord 2000 years ago, arent they as bad as the men who handed over the lord to the romans?

It wasn't Arab land, it was Turkish. The British took it to punish the Ottoman Empire for centuries of jihad. Israel was set up as a decoy to distract a future jihad. The Arabs are still stuck on destroying Israel first before re-starting their goal of seizing Europe and India. Lebanon was also a decoy, but the Nazislamis have conquered that. So only Israel stands between the civilized world and mass invasions from Allahland.

It is a well known fact that Israelis claim for a land which does not belong to them. But countries like USA,UK etc etc. support this on the backing of USA which is under control of wealthy jews whoc can even buy the whole land of USA.Any ruler who imerges in USA is under the obligation of these jew businessmen. So, the USA and its allies support Jewish settlement though they know it is injustice. This supporters have the power in their hand and the rule and justice is what they say.Israelis ahve no land they were just GYPSIES and given room to settle down on ARAB LAND.Arabs are mostly fools only know to spend and enjoy the life as they have money. They don't think of scientific developments and innovations. These USA,UK allies know that they are fools and make use of their weakness by exploiting their oil wealth and tredding their society in the region. The normal Arab laymen understand this but not the Arab rulers who seek protection from USA allies just to safe guard their wealth and enjoy the public money. However, Israelis have no rights to fight and claim Arab's land. The funny fact is that when Arabs fight for their rights USA allies brand them terrorist while justifying the inhuman attacks by the Israelis. Now that The Israel's Great worrier Arial Sheron is enjoying the hevenly pleasure in coma resting in bed and Bush is awaiting his turn on the same bed after Sheron enters the heaven from that bed.

Look in the Bible to the story of Jacob and Esau - it's in the Old Testament.
Born of the same mother - fought even before birth.
They are the fathers of the two sides of this conflict.
Have been fighting for thousands of years.

this isn't anything new
