Exist.
So, my question is this since you believe he does exist;
Can you prove he exists? Can you prove hell exists?
Because to date, there isn't a single solitary shred of credible evidence to support the existence of either.
But hey, if you have proof, that would be great! Just imagine the number of people you'd save!
Think of all of them coming to church, their pockets full and ready to empty into the collection plate...
Go ahead, prove it to me.
(oh an don't try the old "well you can't prove he doesn't exist" because that just shows your ignorance. You can't disprove a negative. The burden of proof is on YOU, to prove he exists, not on me to prove he doesn't)

Thanks Chopper for that typically cowardly answer.
You say you have proof, but when pressed, that proof becomes "faith". Which means bullshit...
Thanks for confirming it for us though...

Fireyhair,
I think he means real evil. Hurricanes and floods and tornadoes are not evil, they are simply environmental occurences. They are utterly neutral.

All modern day visions of the evil one are not divinely inspired, they aren't even in the bible.
The persona of Satan comes from John Milton's "Paradise Lost" and our concept of hell from Dante's Inferno. at the time of publication these books were second only to the Bible and read as divinely inspired. And so the lie was perpetuated for so long that modern day educated people still believe because of the comfort in tradition.

Now if you allow me to use the bible, Rev. 19:19-21, Rev.21 1-15 That is only just a very few scriptures I can use out of many more., Now do you want prove besides the Bible, Look how many crimes is happening every day, Look at all the Jails being filled up, Did you know Indiana now has to take some of Califonia prisoners because their jails is over loaded, Years ago, it would be nothing to sleep with the old storm screen doo,r Or the windows open Or even leave our house unlock for days when we took a trip. Se what happen in 45 yrs.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created...
Genesis 2: 16, 17 Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Do not Touch and Do not eat the fruit thereof.
Genesis 3 Satan enters the garden and tempts Eve,
Genesis 3: 6 SIN and DEATH enter the world .
If sin had never happened, Adam and Eve and all who ever lived would still be alive today.
For the wages of sin is DEATH but the gift of God is eternal life through his Son Jesus.
SATAN IS SIN IN IT'S DARKEST FORM
JESUS IS THE LIGHT IN IT'S BRIGHTEST FORM.
If we walk in the light (Jesus) as he is in the light the blood of Jesus cleanses us...
Just look at all the evil and crime and you see Satan.
Read God's inspired word and you will Know Jesus.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things HOPED for the EVIDENCE of things not seen
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him, for he that cometh to God must Believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them which diligently SEEK HIM.

I don't believe that there is a devil, with horns and flames and what not, but he is a man who is creating havoc in the world, like a Hitler, maybe its osama bin laden, or he is still yet to come. He is a man who will bring the destruction of earth. That is my belief, and hell, it's right here.....can you think of a place that is worse, world poverty, aids rampant, new infectious diseases everyday....
natural disasters on the rise, His reign is on Earth, where he was according to the bible imprisoned by God for the period of 2 thousand years, now released, his war is just beginning. But I believe that our God, King of Heaven and Earth will win the battle against evil.

The truth that the devil exists is that he is said to exist in the bible. The bible is full of the truth claims of God as well as His promises to mankind. Either you accept the bible as completely true or you don't. It has no integrity if you pick and choose what you choose to accept from the bible. It is full of God's wisdom for man. The bible claims to be written by men and authored by God so you either believe all of it, even if you don't understand all of it, or you believe none of it.
To the bibles credit as science and archaeology advance the bible as a record of truth has only been verified as true. There have been no errors found or proven only truths and more questions.
The truth claims that God does make in the bible that are testable and provable today are not only true they are consistently true. An example of these truth claims are:
1) You reap what you sow. In the worlds language they say "what goes around comes around".
2) God says that if you seek Him with all that you are mind, body and soul that He will reveal Himself to you. The world tells us to be careful what we look for because we might find it and not like what we find.
3) God Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth has opened a path to Himself through Jesus. Jesus claims that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life, no one can get to the Father except through Him. The world says surely I can earn my way into God's presence.
All 3 of these truth claims are testable today personally by everyone. The 1st is accepted world wide as a universal truth and is found to be true because it is based on God's truth and not based on a truth claim of man. The 2nd is true yet not many have the courage to actually test it and determine if it is or not. The third is true and is deemed unacceptable becuase it means that we are accountable and have to do it God's way and not our way.

Hell is the abode of the Devil and the Devil exists because he manifests himself in to people. He is an Evil Spirit. Exorcists are one of the authorised personnels of God to rid the Devil from an individual.

You're asking too much of the god-worshippers. Clearly they can't prove their point, aside from making gestures to their bibles/holy manuscripts/golden plates/what have you. Either that or they try and give you lame explanations like: "Look! People! Doing BAD things! Clearly people could never do BAD THINGS ON THEIR OWN!"
As for the classic Problem of Evil, Epicurus definitely said it best:
"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?"
- Epicurus

Obviously he's already deceived you. If something is in the spiritual realm, your scientific proof won't be found. It's a legitimate answer. It shows your own arrogance to think that there should be proof.
God asks for our faith. It makes absolutely no sense that He would give us physical proof of anything. That would negate faith. We are mere humans and not eqipped to play on the same field with an omnipotent being.
Experience is what we base our faith on usually. I have experienced the influence of Satan in my own life. But I can't prove that to you, I can only prove it to myself. That's just how it works. If you truly seek answers, you will find them. Your attitude shows that you're just angry and lost and running scared from the possibility that you might be wrong. It's not too late. Seek and you will find. That is a promise.
