There is no definative way to move on, especially from a long term relationship. You need to allow yourself time to grieve. That's completely normal. To help you keep your head up, find things to keep you occupied and make you feel good about yourself. Work out, do yoga, or whatever exercise you enjoy. If you are creative, paint, write, or play music. Do things that are positive so that you don't get stuck thinking about the guy and getting bummed out. Time does heal all wounds, but some things require more time than others, so chances are it's not something that will stop hurting right away. Just keep your chin up, and it'll all work out. Hope this helped.

theres nothing to it but to do it! no it wont be easy and no it wont happen over nite. but it will eventually happen. one day you will look up and realize that you have moved on and that you are okay without him. yea, it will hurt sometimes. but pain is there for a reason, and pain helps you grow, pain is a reminder of what is, and gives you the ability to change what is. you want to move on and stop hurting? pain will show you how, because pain is also guide. the more you move on, the more steps you take, the less the pain will be present. so do what it do and move on baby, there are plenty of fish in the sea, so dont get stuck on the guppies!!

You can, and you will, In time. Its take alot of healing, changing of your thinking and enviroment.
Dont think you can move on over night, it takes a while, But allow each step to be a closer to a new life/ and a new man.

Time heals all wounds. and obviously you have both made the decision to separate, you will go through stages of sadness and loneliness, but that is only natural and will truly pass. Believe me I have been through it quite a few times.
You need to go out there, join dating sites, surround yourself with support of family and friends and above all, do not jump into a new relationship right away, you need time to heal and date just for fun, please use a lot of common sense and be safe out there, you will find someone who is right for you, cheer up!
Best of luck, Irene.

OK i think you should try and find another guy. Plus if he broke up with you then i know how that feels! It hurts but you have SERIOUSLY got to move on. I mean its hard but just try thinking about something else, mayb that other guy who you think likes you! (o: (its a clown face!)
