That's a terrific sentiment. I'm with you. I think it is so sad that after 9/11 everyone went right back to their old ways...for a while everyone was nice to each other - take care of thy neighbor and all that. But then it seemed like it all just went right back to the normal hating, rude, in a hurry, screw you I'm number one attitude that makes this world so difficult to live in.
I'll be letting people merge, smiling at everyone, saying hi and passing out cookies & blankets to shelters in my town.

You are so right. Society in general has lost their manners, and the holiday season compounds all the hate with all the stress. Having good manners anymore is long gone, or there are very few of us left. In fact it bowls me over when someone does do something nice.
So happy holidays to all, and treat others as you'd like to be treated. If everyone could do that, the holidays wouldn't be as stressful!
