It all depends on the purpose. If you feel other people distract you, then it's best to be alone. However, if you connect well with others and you can maintain your concentration in a group, and what you're working toward is a common goal, a group scenario would probably be better.

It sort of depends on what it is you are trying to accomplish.
Working with an experienced coven with whom you are familiar is generally the best way as you can all focus on the specific issue and raise power to direct at the specific goal.
Then again, the Coven isn't at hand 24 / 7, and you can always cast on your own.
For our Christian detractors, especially the "grow-up girl", Pagan spell-casting is no different to us than is your praying to a single God. Get a grip and stop bashing what you know nothing about. It's our way, and your arrogant bashing of it shows only intolerance and ignorance on your part. If you're entitled to your religion, then we are ours.
As my grandfather used to say: "If you've nothing good to say, you've nothing to say."

It really depends. If it's a big project--peace in our community or getting rid of a coven member's malignant cancer--you can probably assemble a group of very like-minded people, and it would work better than just one person. But one person casting by herself is more powerful than none, always remember that.

if everyone has experience working together, then yes it's better, but just getting a group together for one ritual, isn't always the best course of action.
