I've personally never heard of that, but they say they are soft teeth anyway , and you don't need them, so I wouldn't worry.. In fact it might be a good thing.. A lot of people have trouble with them, as far as crowding other teeth and to remove them can be costly and painful.. So if you aren't having a problem with your gums in that area, just don't worry about it.. I do know a dentist can take an x-ray and see if the teeth are under your gum's and just not coming through , or if they grew in another direction

The only way to know for sure if you have them or not is to have a panoramic x-ray done. If you do not have them... not a big deal, a lot of people have all 4, some only 3 or 2 and some don't have them at all. I've seen couple of films with 5 wisdom teeth tough. So consider yourself lucky one. On the other hand if the film will show that you have them but they are just slow coming, the dentist recommendations will depend on the size of your jaw and the position of your wisdom teeth

Missing teeth is usually hereditary. The only way to know for sure if you have wisdom teeth or not is to have an x-ray done. A panoramic x-ray is the easiest one to have done. Nothing goes in your mouth and all you do is stand still while the camera goes around your head. If you have wisdom teeth the dentist will be able to inform you if they need removal or not. If you don't have any then its no big deal.

Some people don't get them at all, it's genetic. Ask you grandparents and parents if anyone in the family never grew their wisdom teeth.

Yes, some people are just born without them. You can also have a varying number of them from 1 to 4. Your dentist can tell you whether or not you have them or not by doing an x-ray of your mouth. One of mine was stuck partially under another tooth, so I didn't know I had it.

58 and no wisdom teeth. I guess we are not wise. Sometimes wisdom teeth come in and push all your other teeth in. tighter togeather with no pain.

No, some people don't get them. I'm 25 and don't have them. My dentist did an x-ray and said I would get them at the top, but not the bottom. Perhaps you're very lucky!!!
