To stop war, hunger, poverty, bigotry, and any other worldly problems you can think of that affect you personally. Whether it be God that asked or just because of how you feel about the world today.

I would think that I would, but when really being faced with such a reponsiblity, could I. My belief in the Lord says I would, but I'd be a liar if I said I wouldn't be afriad.

This is just a question. I'm not trying to offend anyone. No need to be rude. I love life.

That is a amazing question..If I new that I could change the world to stop war/hunger/poverty..hmmm

My first thought would reflect on what Jesus Christ did for us..but also how the Bible says that there will always be wars..

Especially there will be many signs when he comes back once more..There may be wars, and world problems, so I know that it's prophesied, and can't be changed.

But.. if I were to pretend.. for the sake of pretending in this question otherwise I'd have to say that is quite the sacrifice.. I'd die to stop them all hunger/ poverty and everything.. to change the world.. if that is what I'm called to do.

for one to believe they hold that power is against God.
God has a plan and in order for us to know Good we have to know Bad. If we never have hardships then why work to get into heaven? We would never learn, love or live without those things. That is our motivation to get through the day. Creating a world without evil is actually creating a world only full of evil. We would stop trying and there would be no point for us to be here. So no I wouldn't do that. I would sacrifice my life for my family etc..but not in an attempt to replace God.

well if I could I would! But like you said if it eas all up to me could I do it? I don't know but I can try by starting off small! You are already helping the world because you care and took the time out to ask the world about this! God bless you!

If by my dying I could Save the world, yes I would sacrifice myself but since God loved us so much and has already sent the ultimate sacrifice to save the world (John 3:16) My dying would be pointless...Wouldn't it?

Very Thought Provoking Question though!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank - you.

Have a beautiful day.

I've been given the gift of life. Why should I think about sacrificing it like some story-book God? Why would God ask me to sacrifice my life so something good could happen. Is God a sick, twisted, LITTLE, tormentor, who can only make good things happen if someone has to make a horrible, gut-wrenching decision?

Geesh...

I think it's just bordering on the delusional to think about things like this. Have a nice day.

I think it's easy to say but not easy to do .
You remember even prophet Abraham couldn't easily sacrifice his son even he knew it was an order from God ,he was so sad and uneasy .I am surely very weaker than him ,so I cant say I would for sure!

Well, those rag heads over in Iraq do it all the time for Allah and it hasn't stopped all the things you mentioned except it did for them.
Maybe you ought to try it too if life is too hard for you to face.

I would,I think, but God has other ways to solve these problems without any one sacrificing themselves. He does not want any one to die to prove there love.He already knows whats in your heart

Nope. Rather empower people to lift themselves out of the morass rather than simply eliminate it.

I would not give up my life for war. In my religion (Wicca) We live by one principal. Don't harm others and don't harm yourself. I would die for love, and what I believe in if it came down to it.
