In the last times, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. Do you think this applies today?

I'm sorry daysleeper, one man's opinion about the Bible doesn't make his argument valid. Point is the Old Testament esp Deuteronomy is referring to the law. Jesus completely fulfilled the law. But what I tell you is probably a waste of breath.

Yes, the last days began at the beginning of the new, everlasting and final covenant established by Jesus through His death and resurrection.
In the bible your question is answered specifically in Hebrews, 2 Peter and 1 John. Satan is alive and working today just as he was when these letters were written. Lies and deception are his primary tools of choice. He attacks the word of God first and the men of God second. His tactics have not changed since the Garden of Eden. If he can make you doubt or question what you say you believe and your desire to stand or act on what you profess to believe then he has made you ineffective and powerless in the moment regardless of the where, when, why or how he got to you. This is why it is so important to sow into your heart daily the written word of God. The Sword of the Spirit is the word of God and is the weapon that sends the devil packing.
To show the gullibilty of mankind he will believe a lie, any lie no matter how ridiculus, if he wants it to be true or is afraid that it might be true. You would think we would be more on guard against this weakness individually and as children of the Living God.

Yes, I do. You can look around and see. People have definitely given in to doctrines of devils. They are no longer satisfied with what the bible says anymore, so they hunt around for other doctrines that they can conform to their own lifestyles to where they do not have to change anything that they are doing. And they feel good, because they have this new doctrine, that sounds real good and they are made to feel through these new ideas that there actions are not wrong. ( like the new doctrine, that homosexuality is actually approved of in the bible) People get ahold of that and they are so easily swayed. Seducing spirits, oh yea. I myself, have had to struggle with seducing spirits, which I interpret as temptation.

I think it applies more today than it would have back then, our world today is so corrupt and violent that many are departing from faith on a daily basis, if there is such a person as the devil, then he sure dose have a hold on a good portion of our population, and if this is true then God help us all.

a million Corinthians 6:nine-10 say drunkards is not going to inherit the dominion of God. I believe an occasional drink is fine so long as you're now not getting under the influence of alcohol and you do not emerge as competitive. At the equal time you do not wish to be putting out with a host of drunkards.

Yes. Look at all the cults which call themselves Christians but teach contrary to what Jesus and the Word of God taught.

I think it applies to today, 100 years ago, 200 years ago, and so forth and so forth. Every generation has thought the end was near. There has always been violence and hate in the world.
