Stress, anxiety will cause irregularity. Irregularity is not uncommon even without the stress and anxiety even when you are typically very regular. Don't fret. Those tests are very accurate. Try to relax and see what happens, if you still have not started after another week take another test. If all else fails have a doctor do a blood test.

My wife recently went on antibiotics for a virus she could not shake and it threw her period of by a whole week. We ask the doctor about this and he said it was normal for the type of medicine she was taking.

Have you taken any over the counter medicine or anything this week. If all else falls contact your doctor. The First Response test are great but you may want to see if there is something else they has got your schedule off

if you are under stress that can cause your period to be late, your cycle changes once a year due to hormone imbalances etc. if you took two tests then you are not pregnant, these tests today are the same ones the docs use.
