The Old Testament God is the same as the New Testament God. God is righteous but merciful so you are seeing both of these sides God's righteousness the law is reflected in the Old Testament more because it is the story of the law.The New Testament is the story of God's mercy the story of Jesus Christ. Fist God gave us the Law then he Gave us salvation through Jesus Christ. You can see the entire prophesy of God's plan in Genesis where there are two trees in the Garden one the tree of knowledge of good and evil and the other the tree of life.

The Hebrew language was multifaceted and often you must have a good knowledge of the context being applied. In most cases God is blamed for causing something rather the fact is that He must allow certain things because He first gave us dominion and a free will to choose for ourselves. The problem isn't God but mans inconsistencies

It doesn't really contradict. The OT is based on God. The NT is based on the life of Jesus, and what His role was for mankind. When Jesus was crucified, a LOT of old traditions and practices were done away with. Most of them having to do with the cleasing of sins, and since Jesus dying was the ultimate sacrifice for that cleansing, there was no need for the rituals anymore.

He is constant and unchanging. God has always loved mankind but mankind dont give God the glory he deserves. God is a jealous God and would show his anger on those that put him to the test. Because of God's unchanging and constant love, God sent Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son to die for us. Blood had to be spilt for sins committed. Jesus Blood was spilt for us and if we accept Jesus our sins will be washed away.

When we use human qualities and attribute them to God, we are only trying to use human reason which in itself is not only limited but also finite. Our human finitude cannot in whole comprehend and say what God who is infinite really is. Therefore, the bible does not contradict itself but rather God through the bible is speaking to us in simple human terms and language which we can understand.

You must to choose! If you want God will be constant, if not, then not. God is only one, but this one can be 1000. Other for you, other for me. God is this, what you believe. (Sorry for not correct english, I am only beginner)

The bigger problem are atheists who act retarded. Today's retarded atheist news story. (Local Connecticut atheist organization trying to stop church from ringing it's bells)
This is not leading by example!
When Atheists and skeptics act goofy like that. Religious nut cases get to step in and fill the void.
