I think I gets harder, because usually there is alot more issues (baggage) to deal with. Many people have been through marraige, children, bills ect. Then when you try to bring these things together, it's no longer about two people getting along, but about families, step children, and exes (they never go away) getting along. Also as you get older, you get set in your ways more and it's alot harder to make changes, or even to want to. Either way, I hear people complain all the time when they are in a relationship and complain when they are not.

It is easier because you know the game. You know how to approach someone, you know how to have a relationship, and you know how to end the relationship.

But at the same time it is harder. As you get older, you want more out of a relationship. That may cause a divergence in what people want at the time and it causes many emotions to run high. That means the cuts run deeper when it ends and it is harder to end it, especially if you want to have children and think there is no one else better out there despite your unhappiness. You end up trapping yourself if you aren't careful.

I think picking up the guy/girl is easier, but to keep a lasting relationship is harder as well as trying not to get attatched. When you're young you just move on to the next one. As you get older you want a commitment and it's hard to find someone that's compatible and wants a commitment as well.

It gets more difficult. As you get older work takes up a lot of time and owning a home takes work . . . just not as much time or spare play $ to get out and meet people. Also, many of the older singles have been married and divorced and are now just playing the field which makes finding someone interested in being involved in a mutually exculsive relationship difficult.

Dating is much harder when you get older. Somewhere around 25 daters are no longer looking for a fun night, instead they are looking for a wife/husband. This looking for a life partner puts a lot of stress on the relationship date one.

Not neccassarily easier or harder, it gets more serious, more mature, more real. You have to BE somebody to get a guy or a girl in your 20s ( to have a good, healthy relationship). You cant be like hey your hot and popular and so am i lets get together, like you can in high school. You have to be mature and real when you get older.

I think it gets harder, you need to wonder why the 40 man living with his mother never got married, i think all the good ones go when they are young.
