oh ya big time.I would want to know so I could plan ahead for my children.I would make sure they would be taken care of financially and emotionally.I would want them to be happy and make some extremely memorable times for them to remember and make sure there r know bills for my family to worry about and try to get life insurance so they would have a couple of bucks.

I would not like to know, because every day you die in a sense, they say that sleep is the twin of death.the best thing to do is live your life as if every day is your last day,and pray every prayer (if you are religious,as if it was your last prayer). After all,the so called death is not the end of life,it is merely a transition into the final stage of your existence. So do the best that you can while in this stage, and perhaps you will end up in a good place and enjoy eternal bliss among the prophets, angels, and near the creator.

Knowing the date of your death is pointless.
Because the future is not set. Our choices today affects the future events.
We can make wise choices and have a good long life, or we can make foolish choices like not looking both ways and step out in front of a bus.

No actually I wouldn't, because maybe I would not live a christian life... maybe I would not be cautious to live for God and think that I have all the time in the world until that moment comes. Because when I get to judgment day and I am asked what did I do with my life, I want to be able to say as many positive things that I can fit into my life here on earth. I have wasted so much time already. I want it to be as it is, in waiting, because I know at any time actually, that could be my day. It keeps me on my toes to live the best life I can. To teach my dughter to live the best she can because when Jesus comes back, we want to be in the same place... Heaven... I don't want to take any chances on making it into Hell. Thats the easy route.
Some may say, well, then you will know when to start getting everything in order. Well, maybe my life would be so out of order this way, that I would be too hung over, or too high, or so filled with sin that I wouldn't even care when that day came, because thats how the enemy tricks you. Until when it finally came, I would be like, who cares, then when the burning of hell comes and the worms and the beasts start torturing you, you will wish you had made a better choice when you had the chance. There are souls burning in hell, and being tortured right now, wishing they could get the message to others here on earth to repent and give their hearts to Jesus. But as Jesus said before, what makes them feel they could get someone to change their minds, when they wouldn't change it for the Messiah! So it is definitely their and your choice... I have made mine... to Live For Jesus! I hope you did too...
Besides, maybe he would show me that my definite death would be in the worst car wreck possible and I killed my daughter or something, or that a bomb crashed or something and killed my daughter first, how would I go on, or maybe my husband murdered me or something, or you know something super tragic and it was inevitable and I wouldn't want to, couldn't live knowing that it would drive me crazy to know that and wait on it to happen, any of it any unthinkable death, a plane crash or something in mar of 2007, now how could I live until then knowing that I have 3-4 months to live and just sit and wait on that day... Then I would be hoping for a reason to change it, and being thats my death date and place, I wouldn't be able to. How could one function properly on a day to day basis knowing these things? I would probably drive myself crazy and be deathly ill from insanity until the date came anyway...so all this saying.... No I wouldn't!!
