In Honor of Stupid People…In case you needed further proof that the human race is doomed through stupidity, here are some actual label instructions on consumer goods:

On a Sears hairdryer — Do not use while sleeping. (That’s the only time I have to work on my hair.)

On a bag of Fritos — You could be a winner! No purchase necessary. Details inside. (the shoplifter special?)

On a bar of Dial soap — “Directions: Use like regular soap.” (and that would be???….)

On some Swanson frozen dinners — “Serving suggestion: Defrost.” (but, it’s just a suggestion.)

On Tesco’s Tiramisu dessert (printed on bottom) — “Do not turn upside down.” (well…duh, a bit late, huh!)

On Marks &Spencer Bread Pudding — “Product will be hot after heating.” (and you thought?)

On packaging for a Rowenta iron — “Do not iron clothes on body.”
(but wouldn’t this save me time?)

On a Japanese food processor — “Not to be used for the other use.” (now, somebody out there, help me. I’m a bit curious!)

That's good stuff,how about these?

On a driving mirror in USA: "Remember, objects in the mirror are actually behind you."

On a steering wheel lock: "Warning -- remove lock before driving."

On a Korean kitchen knife: "Keep out of children."

On a carton of sleeping tablets: "Clinically proved night time sleep aid... Warning: May cause drowsiness..."

On a Chinese packet of peanuts: "Open packet and eat contents."

On a Swedish chainsaw: "Do not try to stop the saw with your hands."

On an can of insecticide: "Kills all kinds of insects... Warning: this product is harmful to bees."

It's only inevitable. Everyone seems to know better though. Yet there's still lawsuits over having hot coffee spilled on people. I think americans believe that we live in the promised land, so shouldn't we have our asses wiped for us? People need jobs, but more importantly, they need to be educated and leisuress. Get a soul! I can break my arm and rehabilitate it back to right, with no medical training whatsoever. Yet, others can get a boo boo and make millions! **** me!

LOL.... unfortunately, the only reason those labels had to be put on those things is because someone did indeed do those stupid things once and probably tried to sue them for it. That's why you see on coffee cups that you buy at gas stations or fast food restaurants...... "caution: contents may be hot". And not to mention the warning labels on cigarette packs nowadays.

HERE'S YOUR SIGN

The scary part is that somebody has probably sued over the label not saying some of these silly things and thus the silly labels.

This is not due to stupidity but instead it is due to greed. I work in Manufacturing. We have to put labels like this on things because if we do not smart people will misuse these item and sue us for money while saying they were to stupid to understand how to use the item correctly. I believe the human race is domed but from greed not stupidity.

those remarks are put there because of all the people that do stupid things then sue the company like the guy who sued mcdonalds when he spilled his HOT coffee. that way the companies could protect their money. now, no one can sue marks & spencer for burning themselves.

Pretty funny, but I didn't need the witty commentary in the parenthesis. I got what was ironic about the labels.

Good ones, of course, but I've heard about those a few years ago. Take care, and keep searching for new fun stuff!
