Caffeine [the active ingredient in Coffee] deminishes the water in your fat cells. Concequently, this dehydrates your skin, so depending on your nature (oily vs dry) would determine it's effect it has on your skin.

Yes, coffee can be bad for your skin....Caffeine in skin care products has a totally different effect than drinking caffeinated beverages.

"Caffeine is a stimulant that also poses many risks to acne sufferers. Caffeine artificially increases the production of stress hormones (that means your Coenzyme-A is being used to produce more hormones instead of metabolize sebum), negatively effects liver detoxification, and reduces your absorbance of healthy nutrients. Use moderation when it comes to these beverages if you’re having trouble with acne."

Drinking water is the best thing for your skin. To determine the amount of water you should be drinking daily, just take your total body weight, divide that number by 2 and that will give you the number of ounces of water you should be drinking in a 24 hour period. Distilled water is the best--as it is just pure water with absolutely nothing in it. If you do this, you will see improvements in your skin.

Most people find this difficult to do at first, but if you can do it, you will find your cravings for other unhealthier drinks diminish. You will experience other health benefits too...Good luck!

No dear, not at all...If you are living in a cold area then, neither it is bad for your inner body nor for your outer layers of skin.In-fact, coffee contains antioxidant that are helpful to fight against skin cancer so, don't listen to the foolish dumb people who think, spreading wrong information is their superior duty. Disgusting !

it all depends on your chemical make up in your body. It is different for everyone... it isn't the best thing for you per my dermatologist... coffee and soda... water is best with a little citrus.
