New Brunswick, in Eastern Canada has a strong English history and there are many , many homes for sale for under 100,000, most with a little land, 1-5 acres. Weather here along the coast is beautiful in summer, temp low30'sC. Beautiful warm sandy beaches. Leaves change colour in early October, white Christmas most years. Temp in winter can get to a low of minus 30, rarely and not for long, usually in single digit minus. Can get lots of snow some years but spring hits in March, gardens in late May. Beautiful, friendly people, work in Moncton, 3/4 hour commute on double lane divided highway, property can be quite reasonable. 2 hour drive to Prince Edward Island, must see in summer, 3 1/2 hour drive to Halifax, lots to see and do in whole area. And affordable. Go to mls.ca Click on New Brunswick, click on area map and within easy drive to city are dozens of great homes.

Canada is a beautiful place to live. I must say I would not choose to live anywhere else. I live in Alberta. Everywhere your looking is probably pretty expensive to live. If you moved here your looking between $800-$2000 for rent and if your looking at buying a place the average cost of a home is $350,000. Of course there's always deals on places you just got to look hard. You have a lot to choose from in Canada. B.C is beautiful, with the mountains. Alberta is nice but the weather changes every 5 minutes. Ontario is also very nice. Good Luck and I hope I helped a little bit.

it incredibly is easily between the final places to stay contained in the international. ideal 2-3, or 5... watching the checklist. you will no longer discover the huge open areas in Toronto - it incredibly is a super city in a crowded section. nicely, relative to different factors of Canada. whilst in comparison with the US, perhaps. :) the secret's skills, so as which you will detect a job they are able to't detect a Canadian to do. Your skills are good - PHd's in Math are no longer super undemanding! yet, the foremost would be the place you will discover artwork. do no longer purely think of of Toronto - there are a number of plenty greater effective places to stay than that for the duration of Canada, that's for particular.

Canada is continuially one of the top places to live in by the UN standards, although it has become a bit more expensive especially in the urban centres ( ie Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver )

Cheers.

I moved to Canada from England almost 44 years ago...I love it... (Southwestern Ontario)...England IS "bloody expensive", but, depending on where in Canada you live, it can be expensive, too. Go to http://www.mls.ca/ and click on any of the provinces in Canada. The West Coast(British Columbia) is "lively", but expensive...Toronto, Ontario is "lively" also....take a look at the website and it can give u an idea on prices.
Good Luck

It's amazing. The people are lovely and the weather is good because you have the 2 extremesL snowy winters and hot summers. I love the place.

Although, the price of living is roughly the same as here. Big stuff like houses and cars are cheaper, but groceries and clothes are more expensive so it works out the same.

People from my country (Philippines) are migrating to Canada. They also make a lot of sacrifices----homesickness, among them; but generally, Canada is perceived as one of the ideal countries among the Filipinos. Most Asians live in Vancouver.
