When Christians make the sign of the cross, they say, "The Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost" If Father is God and Jesus Christ is the Son of God, then does that mean that Christians have two Gods?No offence, just curious.
And whose the Holy Ghost, Angel Gabrial?

There is one God, but when we refer to the Trinity, we mean that there are 3 parts of the one God and They Each serve a different purpose. God the Son, God the Father, and God The Holy Spirit represents the Trinity.

Alright, the whole cross thing on the chest, is catholic. Us Christians dont do that. The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost and are the same thing, We can say, please help me Jesus (the son) or Dear God (the father) or thank you holy ghost for... Those are just examples you can say anyone of those in your prayer and it will get to the same person God, who is all of them. Jesus, the son, is the human form of God, the Holy Ghost is the Spirit form of God.

There you go, i hope i helped, i have been raised on this stuff since i was born.

P.S. the angel Gabriel is just an Angel

When the sign of the cross is made, it refers to God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. This is the holy Trinity.

Ok when they mean the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost they believe they are all the same. There is the Father (God) then the son (Jesus/ God in the flesh) and the Holy Ghost (God in the Spirit). Hope I helped.

The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one. God.

That is a very good question. The fact is that Christians only worship one God. The concept that you are addresing is the concept of the Trinity, which is very hard to explain. God (the father), Jesus, and the Holy Gost (or Spirit) are actually the same being. While they are all the same "person" (for lack of a better word), they can also be completely separate "individuals", while still being the same.

In the beginning there was God.. God is the alpha and the omega. God had a son Jesus Christ, whom was made in the image on man, on earth, but he was half God, half human.

During the time period before Jesus, and when he was present on earth, people could not communicate with God directly like we do today through prayer. There were high priests who would connect with God for the people in the Tabernacle. (Tabernacle place of God on earth-structure built for him). It was only the high priests that could make a form of connection with God.. and it was through the chamber that was divided by a veil into the room called the holy of holies.. in which the ark of the covenant was placed. It was only one day a year that the priests could enter to offer a sacrifice, for sins of the people.

When Jesus died for our sins.. he made a connection again with God and humanity. Since from the fall of human kind (Eden), humanity was separated from God. When Jesus died he gave to earth the gift of the holy spirit, so that all who follows him can do his work on earth.

The moment when Jesus died that veil that covered the holy of holies, in which housed the ark of the covenant, was severed top to bottom.. So humanity could now have connection with God once more.

The connection with God through prayer, is a gift of the holy spirit, along with many other gifts. God, Jesus Christ and the holy spirit 'are one'. They make up God together.

it's mostly Catholics and Protestant religions that make the sign of the cross.. it is done to remember that God has three parts.. God, the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit. It is like and egg having three parts the shell, white stuff and yolk... doesn't mean there are 3 eggs. Only 1 true God.

Holy Spirit is God, not an angel. Holy Spirit's job is to guide us and teach us. Kinda like your conscience, only from God...

hope this helps.. and remember that God loves you know matter what you've done or will do.. He may not like the things you've done or will do, but He most certainly love YOU

Not all Christian denominations make the sign of the Cross. Also, not all Christian denominations believe that God and Jesus are seperate entities because of a Scripture that state, "I and my Father are ONE." The Holy Ghost is the manifestation of God that resides in US, not an angel.

The father is God and is also a part of the completeness of God The son is God he is also the son of the father he is also a part of the completeness of God. The Holy Spirit is God He is also a part of the completness of God. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit make up the whole of God who is one God. now We are created in the Image of God We are body and spirit and the two make up the complete being a living soul. You are not simply flesh but when someone sees your flesh they recognize that as you but it is not all that you are if it were when your flesh died you would cese to exist. You are also spirit and that spirit joind to your body make you a living soul. We are not singular and God is not less than we are. God is plural and we are created in his image we too are plural. A dog is singular he is not created in the image of God when the flesh of the dog dies the dog is dead it is all that there is. A man is created in the image of God he is more than flesh when his flesh perishs his spirit continues on.
