It sounds like you could be. My doctor told me the best thing you can do is get plenty of rest. You can use Motrin or Tylenol for your aches. I prefer Motrin. Also, don't forget to drink plenty of fluids. For the sore throat, you can use any of the sprays to relieve the soreness.

The flu vaccination does not furnish one hundred% safeguard and it takes approximately every week earlier than safeguard begins as your frame demands time to create antibodies. However flu has an incubation interval of only a few days at such a lot and your spouse may have been such a lot contagious simply earlier than setting up signs and in her first couple of days. That places the timing a bit of out as you will have long past down with it now not that lengthy after her. There is consistently the probability that what she had wasn't flu however every other nasty virus. It's very rough to inform aside plenty of the time and folks have a tendency to company any nasty illness in the course of the wintry weather as flu. Even a few medical professionals are speedy to name a deadly disease the flu with out quite understanding for certain. A particularly well technique to inform whether or not that's what's used to be is how speedy the indications constructed. With flu they arrive on very swiftly. You can wake within the morning feeling pleasant, a couple of hours later consider like you could have a bloodless approaching and simply hours after that be not able to get off the bed, vomiting and protected in sweat. Many different viruses broaden a little bit slower and also you consider tough someday and wake the online morning feeling horrible.

A few years ago, I had the flu for awhile and wasn't getting better with all that stuff you can buy over the counter. I was so desperate that I bought honey and literally ate about 6 ounces at once. Within a few hours, that flu that I couldn't shake for days was gone. So I think the best medicine for the flu is honey. It worked for me. There are antimicrobial properties that are found in honey that work better than most medicines. Now I take honey with my coffee and teas every day and I haven't been sick since.

Hmmm.... have you handled any poultry recently or do you live on a chicken farm? Sounds like it could be the Avian Flu. I would contact the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention immediately and discuss your symptoms. They can be reached at 1-800-232-4636. You may need to begin taking antivirals as soon as possible.

Probably. The best thing is to take a cold/flu pill that makes you drowsy because your body needs lots of rest. Drink plenty of fluids like oj or ginger ale. And definitely relax. Stress will just make it worse.
