No, it doesn't.
Will it hurt your sentiments (?) when I land in Heaven?

I don't find it any way offending that people landed on the moon. Why would that hurt? Rather I feel curious that how they do that. I will be much happier if they land on Mars and grab some of elements unfound on the earth.
Islam permits space travel in order to know more about God's creation.
In Qur'an:
[55:33] O assembly of the jinn and the men! If you are able to pass through the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass through; you cannot pass through but with authority.

Hi Tell-me-how,
In the first chapter of the Bible (Genesis 1:28), we read: God blessed them. God said to them, "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."
Many Christians interpret the phrases "subdue it" and "have dominion" to be a blessing for science, to understand and manage the resources available to us. I am not sure how that would apply to the moon directly, but going to the moon, or mars, or wherever, has the potential to teach us things that could help us be good stewards of all these things mentioned.
As a Christian, I am pleased to see scientific study, research, space exploration. I wouldn´t mind living on the moon if I could get broadband. More to the point, if something I believe is wrong -- I want to know about it. There´s a lot riding on it.
Peace / Love.

No, not at all, lol! Oddly enough to those who aren't familiar with Islam, religion and science go hand in hand to prove one another. So far there have been no discrepancies between Islamic teachings and proven science, and we really aren't expecting any anytime soon. In fact, if it wasn't for the inventions of early Muslims in astronomical fields and mathematics, it's highly possible that space travel cound not have happened.
