If you want to look at it that way, then shouldn't you also say that you have faith that Harry Potter doesn't exist (assuming that you don't believe in Harry Potter)? I'm sorry but I do not agree. The faith only applies when someone believes something to be true. Do you also have faith that the Boogie Man doesn't exist? If you don't believe in him he'll come and get you while you sleep. Faith is based on belief, and I don't like to "believe" in things without evidence.

I would also like to point out that while answering this question, I was not angry and I was in no way trying to mock you. I just wanted to show you what I was thinking. I just thought that I would make that clear...

In as much as I was not around to see how everything came into being (and neither were you),I say, "I don't know ..... YET!" To assume that some god, my less than intellectual ancestors made up, instantaneously farted the universe into being, is absurd

Agreed -- must of the so called debate on these boards is just bigotry against those who believe one or the other. Its such a waste of time and source of aggravation. You can't open closed minds.
