my partner and i want to go away in the new year for a short break and wanted to try wine tasting. where is the best place to go? money is no problem.

If I could pick any place in the world to visit for a great wine tasting experience, it would be the Castillo de Perelada in Spain!

In the US go to Napa and Sonoma. If you are on the East Coast, try the North Fork of Long Island.

For South America go to Chile. In Africa go to South Africa. In Europe go to Spain, France and Italy. New Zealand has nice wines too.

The Hunter valley in Australia, not only does it have the best wine it also has beautiful country side and restaurants

Money is no prblem??? Go to Bordeaux. there's several different types of wine that come from that area.

i will echo others ...go to france and then you can hit tastings in bordeaux,burgundy and champagne all in one vacation...you are lucky
