Mixed relationship can work out. It doesn't have to deal with the race of the people but the people themselves. I am Puerto Rican and my wife is White. We have a great relationship for over 12 years. My parents were both Puerto Rican and they ending up divorcing. So it doesn't matter what the race is. IT's the people that really count.

As with any relationship you both must share the same core values.

Discuss everything and be willing to listen and compromise.

Respect one another
These are the basis of a good relationship not skin color.

Mixed relationship do not have the stigma of a generation or two ago and they are increasing rapidly.
If you feel comfortable don't worry about what others might think.

Race has nothing to do with love, but strength does. Both will need to be strong because of the social boundries that narrow minded people impose. It will be the strengh that will get it to ultimately work out because at a time or another "haters" will try to derail the relationship.

The good thing is that strength can be drawn from love. If the love is there, the strengh will be too!

Even if people don't speak the same language at all it can work. I think it would be really intrigueing to not be able to figure out what she's nagging about constantly, and I could always rely on a good friend to let me know what an jerk I'm being. j/k ...

But seriously, are you planning on marrying someone who has no interest in learning what you're all about, or vice-versa? It can't work if either of you are racist, so that's up to you whether it can work or not.

Yes, they can they are, there are many people involved in relationships that are of different races and cultures. It is all dependent upon the individuals involved. As human beings if we begin to respect each other and our differences, we will become aware that we are more alike than we are different. God bless****
