Is anyone out there familiar with the hoodia diet, or it might be called the ten day hoodia diet? I'm wondering if it works, what the catch is (it sounds too good to be true), if there are bad side effects, etc...

It is too good to be true and a waste of money.
Your instinct is correct.
Diet pills also a waste of money. Don't mess with your health. Diet pills can affect your heart and do some serious damage.
The moviestar diet is a scam as well.

It is a healthy way to lose weight.
You type in how much you want to lose and by when etc...and they plan out your meals so you can achieve your goal. They have a calorie counter and everything. Plus they give you a fitness plan according to what type of exercising you like to do. The exercises can be done at home like dumbells, resistance bands & ball. You can also choose from walking, jogging,or a home video. There's many different options. It's like having a nutritionist and it is free. You also have support from the members. A real neat site. I'm quite impressed.

With Hoodia I lost 4lbs the first week! After a month, I'm down 13Lbs!
Personally I think 100% Hoodia in tablets is best!

Check with your doctor before starting any weight loss program.
The problem w/Hoodia is 90%+ are scams. The real Hoodia is expensive and only the one imported from S.Africa has been show to work.
Many people go for the low cost scam Hoodia and have no results!
**** VERY IMPORTANT NOT TO GET RIPPED OFF ---
#1. Be sure you are buying pure Hoodia...look for the import certificate on the website. No matter the price, if they do not display this, you really do NOT know what you are getting!
#2. Be sure it is 100% Hoodia & not mixed w/other herbs, etc.!!
#3. Keep in mind it stops your hunger pangs…you MUST remember to break your habit to always eat at certain times.
#4. Drink a full 8oz. glass of water with it!

Hoodia has worked for me...and with no side effects.
