This is what happened, my daughter and I played in our pool this summer for several hours. When we got out my ear started hurting. I fiugred swimmers ear. After a couple days I started getting exteremly dizzy. I went to the Dr, and She said it was Vertigo. It lasted a while. I kept telling the Dr. there was pressure behind my ear. but she didn't say anything. Even today there is still pressure behind that ear and the gland is still swollen. When I lay down my sinus pour down my throat, is there anything that I can take that will help dry my sinus up? I'm getting tired of paying the Dr almost 100 each time to tell me the same thing.

well i know when i used to get water in my ear from the pool, i would pour a little rubbing alcohol in it and wait a couple minutes, then tilt my head so the alcohol would come out and so would the water...but i don't know if this would help with the sinus problem...but it would help if you think theres still water in there...

To get water out of your ear, a couple drops of rubbing alcahol does the trick. Sounds like you have some other probs besides just water in your ear. Has the Doc looked into your ear or have they put you on any antibiotics?

Use alcohol drops in your ear, that will evaporate all the water in your ear. If you feel uncomfortable with this see an ENT doctor and he/she will clean out your ear for you, only costs 50 bucks here. The last thing you want is an ear infection, the pain can be quite debilitating.

I would start with getting some sudifed and keep taking it for about 3 days on a regular schedule. Read the label as to how often you may take it. Than if your not clearing up get a different doctor to help you.

You need to go to an ENT doctor or an allergist. You may need an antibiotic or course of prednisone to help clear up your problem
