I m planning to buy a new car.. decided on swift, but came to know that maruti is coming up with diesel version (fujitsu multijet engine). how good it will be. can we wait till then? and when will it be available.

No, instead you can use it for a year and then get CNG fitted.

Maruti has never been successful with diesel variants, one major flop was Zen diesel. Go for the petrol one and if you want to save on fuel cost get a CNG kit installed.
