These are spiced biscuits with cinnamon and nutmeg. I can only make them crunchy. Any ideas with simple ingredients would be best please. Thanx.

decrease the flour in the recipe by 1/4 cup. your dough will be sticky and floppy, but that makes tender bisquits. Also, use buttermilk or sour milk and add 1/4 tsp baking soda to the mix with the buttermilk.

throw some cinnamon and nutmeg onto some grands- making biscuits is too hard but those grands are awesome!! but if you are gonna do em yourself don't work the dough so much that's probably your problem mix just till everything is well mixed- the more you touch it and play with it the harder it turns out

Well when baking them..set the oven to a higher temperature and bake them for a shorter period...they shoud be crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. :)
