Judges don't make laws and it is more imperative to lock up murderers than child molesters (sadly, there are limited resources). The justice system knows what it has to work with.
In Missouri USA it is illegal for someone over 21 to have sex with someone under 17 or for anyone to have sex with someone under 14 (or maybe it's 14 and under). There is no "age of consent" as far as sex goes.

LIGHTLY! In America, the liberals have almost gotten rid of any penalty for sex crimes. Most offenders get out on "parole" after only a few years.
I think they should be put to death, or at least locked up and never seen again.
