Do you know Mr. Birnbaum?
He's my neighbor, a lovely man.
He is 86 years old, never married, and they say that a lightning struck his town's church the night he was born in Poland many many years ago. He is very industrious and never missed a working day in his life. He is a man of ideals and hard work. He has many friends of many different cultures and religions. He speaks five different languages and knows everything about… anything.
A really nice bloke, have I already mentioned?
I find it terribly weird, but when I try to convince people that Mr. Birnbaum is the Messiah they laugh in my face. "What else do you want, people," I say to them "what other proof do you need for his divinity? He was born with a miracle, he is a man of peace and deeds (probably of virginity as well), he can do many tricks with a coin… why do you refuse to see the truth?"
The truth? The truth is that they (we) cannot accept the fact that a man, any man, is the son of god.
You fail to understand our faith and beliefs if you think that we do not believe in Jesus out of stubbornness or a hard competition with Mohammed in the market of Messiahs.
You have your religion and it is fine by us. You took a regular man and made him god, and it is fine by us. You took our scripts and ideas as a basis to your religion, turned it upside down, mixed it with paganism and it is fine by us. You may believe in a rock, you may believe in a grasshopper, you may believe in a Jewish man if you want; it is fine by us.
Just don't try to make us feel bad for not being Christians, or Christianize us via our own stories and beliefs.
Good day!

Only very weird Jewish men did not marry back then------the Jews very much accepted G-d's command to ''be fruitful and multiply''. He was born-------thru the process that every other man is born. (this is a mistranslation of the Hebrew word for young women--''naarah''), and there were many magicians back then, and alot of people lived in Jerusalem.
And, most of all, he did not fulfill the prophecies of the Scriptures.
Jesus was the means of the church making up a religion to control the people.
I do not understand. Why do you say Jews complain about Mohammad? I have never heard of this, and I am Jewish.

When have Jews complained about Muhammad?????????
As a Jew, I can tell you that because of our firm belief in the ONE, UNDIVIDED G-D, who has no PHYSICAL children, we reject Christianity.
Theologically speaking, we have never had a problem with Islam, which is similar to Judaism in some ways, the most important being the belief in ONE G-D.
We do not believe in Jesus for many reasons:
Christians identify Messiah with Jesus and define him as God incarnated as a man, and believe he died for the sins of humanity as a blood sacrifice. This means that one has to accept the idea that one person's death can atone for another person's sins. However, this is opposed to what the Bible says in Deuteronomy 24:26, "Every man shall be put to death for his own sin," which is also expressed in Exodus 32:30-35, and Ezekiel 18. The Christian idea of the messiah also assumes that God wants, and will accept, a human sacrifice. After all, it was either Jesus-the-god who died on the cross, or Jesus-the-human. Jews believe that God cannot die, and so all that Christians are left with in the death of Jesus on the cross, is a human sacrifice. However, in Deuteronomy 12:30-31, God calls human sacrifice an abomination, and something He hates: "for every abomination to the Eternal, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods." All human beings are sons or daughters, and any sacrifice to God of any human being would be something that God would hate. The Christian idea of the messiah consists of ideas that are UnBiblical

Jews don't complain about Muhammad.
The one and only purpose of the messiah (a human) is to bring peace on earth for all mankind. There have been many, many false messiahs even into the 20th century, but when they die without having brought peace on earth, there can be no question about not having been the messiah. There has been no peace on earth ever in our history and it certainly doesn't look to be happening any time soon!
There are many other reasons why Jews did not accept Jesus as the messiah. You can find those reasons here.

Jews do not suppose in Jesus as God given that we suppose in a single God and whilst you begin including up God the Father and God the Son and God the Spirit - consistent with our math...you've gotten 3 and no longer one. In any case, our ideals are founded at the Torah and a advisor ebook of moral and ethical dwelling. If you are taking away Jesus, you don't have any faith. If you are taking away Mohammed, you don't have any faith. In Judaism, we haven't any unmarried prophet who determines the valued at of the entire faith given that we've got the Torah, which teaches us learn how to are living and behave morally and ethically. The motive we do not suppose in Jesus or Mohammed as prophets is given that our faith says that folks that talk in opposition to the approaches of the Torah are fake prophets - each Jesus and Mohammed went in opposition to the legislation of the Torah. As for Mohammed, good, we do not suppose that murdering blameless folks to be able to get seventy two virgins is a strategy to martyrdom. A faith founded on terrorism and homicide...good, that simply is not the Jewish manner. As for Jesus - good, let's assume this...if Christians could comply with the lessons of Jesus...and no longer blame the Jews for matters we did not even do...the sector could be a higher position. And, for Mohammed...if the Moslems could comply with the Koran higher - and no longer their leaders who twist it to get what they wish - there too, the sector probably a extra peaceable position. As for Jesus being born "amongst us" - we don't seem to be those who "declare" that, the Christians are. Yes, Jesus in no way declared struggle or killed any person - if most effective the fans of Mohammed might say the identical factor.

jews don't complain about mohammed. we simply don't believe he was a prophet. we don't believe buddha was a prophet either. buddha was a nice man with lots of good teachings to say, but that doesn't make him a prophet. likewise for mohammed.
as for jesus, perhaps we would have accepted him as a prophet in the beginning. but the moment he began to demand to be worshipped as the son of G-d, and the moment he tried to change the G-d's everlasting word, he showed that he was not a prophet, because a prophet is somebody who speaks the word of G-d, not who claims to be G-d.
its not stubborness that we don't accept him. its common sense. G-d does not become human, and humans are not gods.

Your question isn't very coherant.
First of all, you'd have to explain what you mean by "Jews complaining about Mohammed" and then explain why that is relevant to whether they believe in Jesus or not.
The next thing you'd have to explain is what relevance does Jesus have in never marrying or declaring war etc. have to do with beleiving in him or not.
And secondly, you'd have to explain why this is due to stuborness.
Next, you'd have to explain what that has to do with David and Solomon.
By the time you'd did that, you'd probably answer your own question.

There is more proof that Jesus existed than there is that Alexander the Great existed. Jesus took a whip to the people in the temple because they were desecrating his Father's house. If you read your bible, it does say (several times) that righteous anger is a good thing.
I'm not a Jew so I don't know about some Jews believing that Jesus is their Lord and savior but I do pray that is true. Most Jews do not believe that Jesus is the son of God because they were expecting a king and warrior who would come and save them from Roman persecution. Jesus did not come to make war against the Romans, he came to save us all from our sin so that we may have eternal life with our Father in heaven through him.

jews don't believe in Jesus because he doesn't meet the criteria for being the messiah...look around you....the messiah was supposed to bring peace to the world, rebuild the Temple, and a bunch of other stuff that you don't have to look far to see isn't happening. It has nothing to do with being stubborn and everything to do with listening to G-d's standards for who the messiah will be and what he will do. You need to educate yourself on Judaism and the Muslim religion before you start passing judgements.

The Jews hate Jesus because he claimed to be God. And, for that God abandoned them for nearly 1900 years. But that time seem to be up now. We don't know what will happen next. But, if you have a problem with the Jews-you had better settle it real quick-God will not afford you the time to explain. When He strikes-it will be final.
