The only way I know to get money quickly for X-mas is to take out a loan (Legally) or sell your body (Not Legal, don't do it). However, now would a good time to teach the children that the meaning of a good X-mas is not how many toys (or presents) you get. If you are strapped for money (and with 6 kids who wouldn't be?) suggest buying one or two games that the whole family can play with, then you can buy them something else on their birthdays which hopefully is not all on the same day or same month.
P.S: With six kids may be you should start X-mas shopping in July. That way you can get a present a month, and it won't hurt your budget to much.

If you had time in the evenings get a job at a busy rest. and work your but off. If you put enough effort into it and get a job at a good place, you can make more than $200 a night. But that might not be an option for you since you have six kids

This won't really get you money, but if you contact your childrens' school they can probably tell you of an organization that can help buy Christmas presents for your children. Or you could try contacting a local church. Often times they have a program to help families with Christmas. If you're going to do this, act quickly. A lot of the children's names for this kind of program have already been distributed.

Easiest way it too get a job, evgen if it has to be a seasonal job. Try to see if there are any neighbors of yours, that needs work done, and are willing to pay you to work for them. It is the week of Thanksgiving, so stores in your area could be hiring for Christmas help. But it will be up to you, to convice a store or somebody to hire you for a job.

sell some of the children....NOT.... but maybe some of the stuff that is no longer in use? a yard sale??
probably wont bring in as much $ as you paid for it originally, and not as much as you would like. It may make a difference of small gifts vs no gifts.
just a thoughts??
