What are the ground works in the airport? I know of traffic controller and operation technicians.?

Grounds Crew (Area maintanence)

you have to have a rating from the FAA(airframe, powerplant,or both) to work on civilian aircraft in the u.s.. most countries require a certificate or rating of some kind to work on their a/c
