I am 19, and I have had my period since 12, but recently it has completely stopped. "No, I'm not pregnant", This girl I know told me it could be related to my eating habits because I don't eat much and I sometimes have the bad habit of throwing up my food because I don't want to ever get fat. Is this why my period has stopped? How can I make it start back without stopping throwing up every morning?

Good lord, please stop vomiting every morning! Of course that's why your period has stopped and changing your eating habits is the only way to make it start again. You'll start losing your hair next, and eventually you'll become so weak you'll hardly be able to stand. It sounds like you're suffering from anorexia nervosa which will kill you if you don't start eating healthy! You need to talk to someone about your fear of becoming fat, which in your mind is probably anyone who weighs more than 100 pounds. You can stay thin by eating healthy and exercising and it won't kill you! Please, please see a doctor immediately!

well you need to get some help, because I've gone thru the same thing and I'm 15. I had increase the food little by little,
EXAMPLE: 5 pieces of cereal to 10 to 14 to 17 to 19 to 24 to 27 then so on and so forth

That is the exact reason why your periods have stopped. You need to stop throwing up . You are bulimic. Not to mention you are slowly killing yourself. Have you researched what your doing to your esophagus and your throat not to mention what your doing to your body? You have to stop. You can eat properly and exercise and not get fat. Come on! Do you want to die a slow death?

You need to see a doctor, yes that can affect your period, I know a girl who can control hers with the way she eats, not throwing up though. That isn't good for your health at all. You need to talk to someone about your problem, it is more serious than you think.

I think you're right. It has something to do with your eating habits. See, the thing you're doing to yourself is not normal, and that's why your body can't act normal either. You should consult your doctor, because I think you're having eating disorder.
