You're 5'10" and 227 pounds. You're big for a 14 year old. You're probably still growing since you're so young.
Starving yourself or going on a starvation diet is a bad idea! You won't lose weight. Your body will go into survival mode.
You need to eat 10 times your ideal weight in calories and do that over six meals per day. You should probably not eat any more than 2000 calories per day.
You need more protein, fruits and vegetables. No junk food. You need to drink about one gallon of water per day.
I've lost 16 pounds in 5 weeks but I've running 3 to 6 miles every other day. I've also been trying to eat no more than 1800 calories per day. I cut out all soft drinks (no drinks with sugar).
You won't lose much weight in less than a month but you need to run for at least 30 minutes every other day and then use weights for an hour the other days while taking at least one day off per week. Do this and after awhile as you continue to grow, your classmates will be calling you "Sir".

well starvation is the wrong way to go. Your body thinks it needs to start conserving, so it slows your metabolism, decreasing the number of calories you're burning. Cut the sweets out, including sodas especially. don't completely cut out carbs, meaning breads and the like, but try to eat them in moderation. Only eat lean meats like chicken and fish, no beef or pork. At the gym, only do cardio stuff, like the bike. Don't use the weights, they'll bulk you up before you lose any of the fat. The idea is to get your heart rate up, preferably above 140's, for at least 1/2 an hour. Your body starts burning fat after 15 minutes at that heart rate. In addition to that, take walks, be active in general, and don't starve or gorge yourself! Good luck!!

There is always a trainer in every gym to help you to prepare a list of exercises for you.

With a starvation diet you will NOT loose weight, instead eat proteins, and try not to eat any sugar or fat. You will lose fat and you will not starve. Eat tuna and meat with low fat. Eat olive oil and not margarine, and so on. However I don't know your health status, so watch out: protein rich diet can be harmful to your kidneys.
You can always ask your parents to visit a doctor to prepare a diet for you.
