Yes. I've heard excerpts from the Holy Qur'an as spoken on the cockpit voice recorders of United Airlines Flight 91 and Egypt Air Flight 990.

I did not get a "great" feeling...instead a rather ominous feeling. (But it IS interesting.)

Hearing the Qur'an being recited is beautiful. Even if you don't know what is being said, it's very soothing to hear.
