Catia is a 3D solid modeling package used for very large assemblies.

Ansys is a matrix math simulataneous equation solver for FEA and other applications.

Yes, Lot of opportunities. But you have to decide where you want to go. Decide between CAD or FEA , as nobody needs Jack of all trades. And refer in websites for learning resources. like www.catiatutor.com for CATIA and so many university websites for Ansys.
