I was looking at the news this moring and they put a ban on backpacks ,pures,handbags or anything biger then a pencicl pouch. They are saying its to help keep bombs out of school or other dangers .i think its dum you know some people need to have pures to hold things that some people dont need to know about ( personal idemsfor womans , meds , and etc...) but what do you think. it jst make

my kids can still take backpacks but they can be searched if there is a reason to believe they have something they shouldn't. I think kids need backpacks and purses for there personal stuff and to carry there books. if a kid wants to bring something they shouldn't bad enough it wont matter about backpacks they will find a way to do it. where are they doing this at?

I think that the fact that the schools feel it necessary to make such a ruling to protect the students is the crime! When did bomb scares become common place? When did metal detectors become necessary in schools? WHY IS ANY OF THAT OKAY? WHY ARE YOU WORRIED ABOUT THE CHILDREN NOT BEING ABLE TO CARRY BACKPACKS WHEN YOU SHOULD BE MORE FREAKED OUT ABOUT THE REASON THEY CAN'T? Sorry, but I just don't understand why we accept the level of violence we have seemed to have sunk to.
