Cut a Vitamin E gel pill open. Put the gel on your lip before you go to bed. Do this for a few days and it will be fine.

I know that once I stopped using all the products on my lips the chappedness went away not sure why but it did I used to use chapstix like it was going out of style kept one in my pocket every where I went and probably used it 100 times a day but as soon as I Stopped I stopped needing to use it now I only use it once in a while when they are really chapped for some reason once you get rid of that product in you body it compensates for it in other ways.

a lip balm with healing ingredients will be better than a petroleum based chap stick.
Maybe you need to evaluate your diet. Are you drinking enough water? Omega oils?
Try exfoliating your lips with a dry wash cloth. Gently, to remove the dead skin. Then moisturize. Try shea butter, cocoa butter or olive oil.

Use an old toothbrush and GENTLY rub your lips with water to get off some of the dead skin, pat dry and coat your lips in Vaseline. Keep using the Vaseline throughout the day, see how this goes for about a week and if you still have problems then definitely go to your Doctor for help.

An allergic reaction may be the cause. You might want to see a doctor abour ur lips. If you are uising lip balm with sunscreen in it, it will cause chapped lips or if you are in the sun alot. Use medicated li balm and not flavored lip balm. I hope it helps.

Sometimes the lip balm you could be allergic too. I am. Blistex seemd to be the only one that can help me. If your lips are really bad try putting on an over the counter antibiotic lotion.

lanolin will work wonders.if it is to thick melt it in a very small amount of olive oil, preferably in a double boiler.lanolin is expensive but worth the price. nursing mothers use it to relieve chapped nipples and it will work wonders on any skin problem.
