HONEY , IT IS NOT JUST THEM BECAUSE I LIVE IN ARKANSAS AND THEY ARE JUST AS SLOW AND SEEM NOT TO ANYTHING FOR DAYS . THEY SAY THEY HAVE RULES THEY HAVE TO FOLLOW. RULES MY FOOT. I TOLD THE LADY AT THE CHILD SUPPORT OFFICE THAT IF THEY HAD A BUNCH OF PI$$ED OFF MOMS RUNNING THE PLACE THINGS WOULD GET DONE A WHOLE LOT FASTER!

Sheila...I know how it is! I am from OK too and have to wait forever for my child support every month. Not to mention that they break it up into two payments. Things are supposed to get better after the first of the year (around Feb.). That is when they will start doing away with the "paper" checks and start direct deposit or using a debit card. This is supposed to free up some of the hands on work that they are having to deal with now. Take care!

I don't know where you went to or who you went to to get your child support, I might have been just lucky, I don't know, but I got mine with out any problem...except when HE was slow about getting it to them. They can't and won't send you money unless he pays them first of course.

I don't mean anything bad by saying this....but at least you are getting so support as their are some parents out there that don't get any at all. I was in your shoes not long ago myself, so I know how important it is to get that money every month...AND on time.

How long has it been? Call your state senator's office, or ask to speak to a supervisor at the DHS office. Good luck!

Because they have to deal with big numbers. They have to take their shoes and sox off to be able to count that high.
