If you have to pick her up, hug all four legs together, don't put your arm under her belly, that may bust the stitches or cause her to have adhesions. As for her stretching, she will only stretch until the stitches start to hurt her. After a couple days the incesion will start to mend and she will be as playful as ever. Try to keep her from jumping or rough play until the stitches are removed. When in doubt about your four legged friend always ask your vet, that is what they are there for. Good luck.

You shouldn't have to carry her at all.
After surgery at our clinic, a dog isn't discharged unless they are able to walk on their own after the surgery (spaying or neutering). She'll be able to walk just fine after she gets home. She might be slow to get up and down from a laying position, but she will do it on her own.
I would just make sure she doesn't do any jumping (couch, bed) until the stitches come out which should be in about a week to ten days.
Dogs have a lot of common sense, she won't do what she can't do.

She will be fully compusmentus when she leaves the vets. The vet should not discharge her into your care untill she has come out of the anasthetic properley. This is so he can check she is OK for the travel home. The stitches will be fixed properly so that they do not pull as the dog will want to clean them all the time by licking them.
She will be able do all the normal things within 24 hours of the surgery.

Spaying a lady cat is 100% effectual. i have owned various female cats in my existence and all of them had the surgical treatment. no extra howling and no kittens. The vet might want to describe each and every thing to you before. do not be afraid to ask questions. She'll ought to stay in one day for statement, to verify she comes out of the anesthesia and to seem ahead to any themes from the surgical treatment, yet you shouldn't hardship. She'll be in able fingers. Veterinarians do those ideas each and each and every of the time. Oh and he or she'll be a touch groggy at the same time as she receives abode yet it truly is generic. She needs to relax for some days besides. you're doing the right element. it will be ok.

Thats a big pup. Do you have a carrier or kennel for her? This would make it easier for transport. Your pup will only be groggy right after surgery. My kitten got nuetered yesterday.
The day after, she should be back to a normal routine. All you need to do is make sure she doesnt lick or pull at her stitches. Keep an eye on them and make sure they dont get infected.

You shouldn't have any problems. Our dog weighed more than that. The vet kept her overnight, and she was a little disoriented when she got home, but she was fine. She peed in the house once, but that was while she was headed for the back door, and it was because she never went at the vet's office.

When she is in the hospital she will have a catheter in. After you get her home she will be very groggy and wont want to move. Alot like humans. After my St Bernard was spayed and I got her home, I was outside with her for just a few minutes so she could pee and then we went inside to her comfort place and she slept. She let me know when she was ready to go outside again. Listen to your vet about how they take care of post op pets after they go home.

she will be able to move around by herself. she will be very lethargic if you get her back the same day, so just keep an eye on her and let her out when she needs it. she will get more energetic in the next couple of days, but possibly sore in the belly area. you may also see a little blood in the stool, but only the first day or so.

I just went through this a few month ago. m pup was 50 lbs. i let her walk outside carefully. she was just fine. she also stretched and was fine. i didnt let her jump up and down alot. Your pup will be fine. there is no need to carry her outside she can do it just watch her to make sure she dosent run around.

You don't need to carry her out to go to the bathroom. Her moving around isn't going to do any harm.
Yes, if she is a "stretcher", she will know her limit.
I would recommend a 'cone' on her head though. Alot of female will lick and irritate stitches, and possibly pull them out.
