its not, they are different. flirting is harmless fun, as long as it doesnt lead anywhere. Cheating is actually kissing or sleeping wiv someone. Ppl are too uptight, have a wee flirt is healthy u cant shut off from the opposite sex coz ur in a reltionship. as long as its all fun and banter flirting is harmless. its cheating when u actually do something about it.

When the flirting goes to far and you end up kissing or hooking up or something. But even flirting can be a form of cheating if you are doing it to make your special someone jealous.

It depends on the person and their level of confidence in themselves. A person with a signficant other who thinks flirting is appropriate is not as significant to the flirt as they think they are.
People who are attracted to each other aren't necessarily bound to fidelity in all aspects of their existence -- and the so-called "open" relationship permits even more outside attentions.
However, if what you have is meaningful to you flirting is less permissible. If what you have is casual flirting is more permissible.
The bottom line is "who is significant to whom" and the line is drawn in sand, not etched in stone.

When the flirting has the intention of developing into something more, even if only in your mind. Also not nice to do when in the company of your current boy/girl friend.

there is nothing wrong with flirting everyone does it even if your not actually aware of it, but flirting becomes the same as cheating when your prepared to take things further.

How would you like to be in the opposite side? Would you like to be with someone who's flirting with somebody else?

When does 'being charming' become 'flirting' ?
I get accused of it a lot. I enjoy people but some, it seems, dont like me doing it.

I think when feelings start to develop. Or when the flirting starts to affect your relationship.

Flirting is okay as long is it totally doesn't distract you from who you are with. I'm not going to stop flirting and I don't expect my b/fs to either.
