Keep in mind that there are a very great many in here who are in the 6 to 10 age range, and wiseass stuff is the norm for them, which is about all they can do because they have no life experience or practical knowledge that would enable them to give a real meaningful answer to anything. Then there is another percentage that goes for shock value, and another percentage that goes for the weird and bizarre. So this is like a supermarket. Take what you need and leave the rest.

Now, I am a moron and sometimes I just blurt out stuff that is just plain nuts but that is to be expected.

If you ask for advice then that's what people are going to give you. If you don't like the advice that people give you, don't post your question then. Some people give you advice from there own experiences or sometimes just general knowledge. I myself don't answer or submit questions for points i like to communicate with other mums around the world. So if you don't like peoples opinions don't ask questions.

Some of it may be opinion, of course.

Others are just trolls who love to hide behind the anonimity of the internet. Feel sorry for them.

Some people just answer for the points, I guess, instead of genuinely trying to help.

I looked at your previous question...& if you're talking about Mosh's answer - I think it's because he is American & has never heard of A & E...they call it ER don't they?

To stop irrelevant comments, put UK in your question because although it says UK & Ireland Questions - the US see our Questions & we see theirs - hence responses like ‘huh‘ to a UK specific question..

because thats what Americans do, and because it requires less thinking to give a bad answer than a good one
