Studying Civil Engineering at strathclyde uni and need to know answer for presentation this afternoon. Looking to know what was structurally wrong with it.

They moved it to put new support piling in it but I'm not studying civil engineering at Strathclyde so whatever support piling is the solution to, then that was the problem.

Yes they had to move it an inch or a centimetre. Something to do with expansion or contraction or erosion. Took place on a Sunday but can't remember when. Sounds logical, shut it when the subways closed

It was sinking and moving apart at something like 6 inch a year.

Further to that I think there was something to do with the reconstruction of the "Clockwork Orange" as well. Check it out.
