The best thing you can do to tone your lower body is to simply move your legs. A couple of years ago I had a similar problem of wanting to slim down but not having the time to go to the gym because of my job, so I went out and bought a treadmill. There are some really good, and cheap, models around which can tell you how long and how far you're walking; and even better, how many calories you're burning.

Another great tip I got from a new mum who lost all her baby weight was to always try to take the stairs instead of the elevator and to walk everwhere within walking distance instead of driving (like the supermarket or your child's school).

Lunges are great. You can do them while doing your mundane tasks like cleaning and vacuuming. Squats are great too. Make sure you do the movements slow and controlled. You can use hand weights or not. (soup cans work great for that)

It looks silly, but throw playing cards on the floor in a line slightly spread apart and do lunges while you pick them up - you can do the same while picking up your child's toys. If you have stairs in your home, take them two at a time. Do the squats while you or child is watching TV.

Ride your bike with you child -- if they're a baby, put a special baby carrier on the bike (remember their helmet!!) and go! If your child is old enough to ride a bike, go for a ride together.

Check out www.self.com/fitness -- they usually have some great ideas. If you buy the Self magazine, they have pull out cards with different exercises featured in each issue.

Good luck and have fun!!!

You can do 50 situps a days.spolit up 25 times in the morning and 25 in the evning.
Also try backcycling.I do it.it does help.U have to lie on ur back and start cycling in the air.
Lifting ur legs lying on ur back to 90 degrees helps a lot too.
