Neither.
Treat yourself to Inifinity or Boston Acoustic. They're a llttle more pricey - skimp on the amp a little, if you must.
Bad speakers cannot be overcome by a good system. Good speakers can somtimes make a bad system sound better.

alipne really has no bass to there 6x9s. if you want bass go JBL.
if you want a better speaker then JBL try Pioneer Premier, Kenwood Excelon, or Boston Aoustics.
