I am from New Zealand, we over here seem to follow the US, so of course I am **** scared of intelligent design it is not science and is not intellegent. Evolution is realy quite easy to follow but of course hard to accept if you have been brainwashed from the time you were born by one of the many conflicting beleif systems of our world. So I hope ID stays dead in the water as it seems to be at the moment. We need to advance not go back to the dark ages.

Of course what I'm about to say confirms I won't be the best answer but sometimes you've just gotta go for it...

I think you sound obsessed, with being right about life. I find that is truly the biggest divide between religious and non, and BOTH are guilty.

Here is the rub, you think they are guilty and brainwashed, I think we all are guilty and brainwashed. We are ALL clueless animals walking around this earth without any idea of why we are here or what happens next.

Ever watch ants...does it really matter what they believe.

So chill out and let people live and believe what they want. If it helps them get thru so be it. No one is really smarter or more enlightened than anyone else on this earth...truly

Friend The USA has already gron up, I have some friends that are Austrialiancitizens ^ they are deperatlyu try to move to the United States Of America, Ask youselve why do they want to leave their country & move to the uSA, America has grown up about 2 centuries ago, Since you can not see past the 1700's Then you should grow up, You are afraid of many things, of which not one of them bothers Me. So who needs the growing up, When a disaster hits the planet who are the 1st ones the world call on for help, Not Austrailia, Not Norway, Not Africa, BUT THE USA Now think bout it. It will give your mind something else to study.

I'm not a defender of Intelligent Design or debate against Darwinistic evolution, and I haven't thoroughly studied the matter since science is boring to me, but from the debates I've witnessed the people defending Evolution never really provide a scientific defense they just say, "Religion is not science so I don't need to refute you"..... People who side with Evolution just repeat over and over, "its a proven fact get over it" etc but I haven't seen any of the facts so I have no reason to believe it.

Psalm 53:1
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
Psalm 53:1-3 (in Context) Psalm 53 (Whole Chapter)
Psalm 75:4
I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believe

We [USA] suffer from too much freedom. The US Supreme Court, called "Scientific" Creationism nonscientific decades ago. The religious fringe put some perfume on the pig, called it ID and we're back to square one. No court in any of the Commonwealth would allow that.

Thank you Wayne for showing us exactly what is wrong with the US education system.
Essentially you said "that's not evolution, it's evolution". Name me ONE credible scientist that has "rejected" Macro evolution.
To put it VERY simply for you, since I doubt you'd understand any other explanation; Many micro = macro.
Understand now?
Probably not but it's amusing to watch you idiots try and rationalize mythology into science. It's pathetic, but amusing.

Ya I agree somewhat.Science has confirmed that the universe is complex and maybe this has "frustrated" some, enough to point them back at religion.Pursuing intelligent design scientifically is beneficial for science. What branch of science is leading to that possible conclusion?who knows.

evolution *AS AN ORIGIN CONCEPT* is as much speculation as creation is.

beliving in evolution in such a way is as much faith based as religion.

intelligent design, or its slightly more scientific-minded cousin, Guided Evolution. do NOT claim to be "scientific" as such. in fact what it is, is filling in the parts that are beyond science's reach.

remember. Scientifically no origin concept can *EVER* be more than a hypothosis.
