Since retaining academic material is key to passing exams, how come there are no textbooks that present the information in an easy to remember format e.g. mnemonics, humorous images etc. I know that students are encouraged to create their own, but if they had ready-made memory aids, wouldn't this save time and also not every student is creative and imaginative.
I am not talking about learning using comic books, but after the students have learnt the material, they still need to remember it.

First off, not everyone learns the same way. A 'memory aid' for one student is useless clutter to another. Secondly, the purpose of education is not simply memorisation it is application. I think your heart is in the right place and you are looking for interesting ways to learn... not just remember. Good luck!

If you are looking for a new textbook I reccoment Textbook411.com they have every textbook that has ever made it to print and you are likely to find something that helps you and for a fair price!
