Why do people paste whole web pages as their answer? It takes up alot of space. Why not just paste the URL and let the asker go to the site. Does this annoy anyone else?

It is very annoying! It would be so much easier to just paste the URL, but NO!, they have to paste the whole website...It doesn't make much sense...I think part of it is that they just want their answer to stand out, but to me it's just annoying, annoying, and annoying!

Yes, this annoys me. I think they just want to hog up the space so their answer will get picked on the grounds that after the asker has read the thing, they don't feel like reading any more. These people don't have good enough answers from their brains so they compensate by pasting and taking up space.

that is interesting, unless you mean people paste a lot of text I have not seen anything like that. But, it is quite annoying to have someone with an answer full of irrelevant junk and a mile long in addition

This whole answers thingy is quite hilarious. thats why I am answering your question. I enjoy it! BUT I want to know why people dont just do their own research on Google or Yahoo, themselves!
