Been using tick wash, frontline spray, the dogs also had a tick shot from the vet (supposed to last a month but only lasted a week), and have spread lime in my yard (this kills ticks but they came back only after a few days). Anyone got any other ideas?

Try a product called advocate. Its by bayer and its good for ticks, fleas, mange, intestinal worms and heartworm. Its a spot treatment for the back of the neck and is available in 3 or 6 month lots. Its a bit expensive but if it works and worms the dog its worth it. Its available over the counter at the vet.

Frontline, Advantage will kill the ticks and fleas. You may still find them on your dog, but they will die just from being on your dog. There is some lawn chemical that you could put on your lawn, but make sure your dogs don't go there for a while. I was very upset when I found ticks on my dog, and called my vet. I was told that they will jump on your dog, but die shortly thereafter. Sure enough, all the ticks I found were already dead.
