Honestly, 70cc in 2 days is not much. I have drank like 30cc of vodka in 15 muntes once. Of course, I ended up puking on my girlfriends baby that night.

Sorry let me get back to your question... I don't think alcohol is the only problem. Could it be that he wants more appreciation from his kids and wife? Try treating him like a master and let him watch football with peace and quiet. I say this because a man just want to rest after a hard day of work. It is truly priceless.

I've been sober for 22 years, that's not bragging, it's how I stay alive. How does he act when he's not drinking? Is there a Jeckyll and Hyde personality ? It doesn't matter if he only has one glass a day, if he's got to have it, there's a problem. In my case, and in the case of anyone that's had a run in with the bottle, one glass is too much, and a thousand isn't enough.

One shot a day is not nearly enough to gain the full health benefit of alcohol. He should be polishing off the whole 70 cc bottle.

You may not agree. If that's the case, you could hide the bottle in your hair.

I have dealt with a similar problem with someone I love. Some people have addictive behaviors that are hard to overcome. Talk to him when he's sober and explain your frustration and tell him you're willing to support him if he gets help, otherwise, you may need to use some kind of ultimatum.Sometimes the only way for someone to realize they have a problem is to see they may lose the people and relationships in their lives that keep them going and make them happy.

I had the same problem and told mine to choose between us or the alcohol. He said he chose us but he kept drinking. I stuck with him for 20 months after the first conversation and then up and left him. 2 months later he quit drinking (too late for the two of us to work anything out, but not too late for his relationship with our son). 3 years later and I am still glad I made the move. Wish I had done it sooner and not wasted all that time.

If you met him and he was like that you have no one to blame but yourself. If he started drinking habit then maybe you can get him into counseling with you so you both can try to work it out. People only change when they want to. So if he doesn't want to give up booze for you and the kids leave him until he finds out what is more important to him.
